This Easy Breezy Square is a simple granny square that makes up quick and is great for using up scraps of yarn. Great portable project to take anywhere with you. Great square for beginners and seasoned crocheters looking for a quick project. Grab you supplies and let’s get creating.

Easy Breezy Square Instructions
Foundation: Use a Magic Ring OR Ch 4, sl st in first ch, to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 ( counts as first dc ) work 11 more dc into ring, join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. ( 12 dc )
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same ch as join, 2 sc in each dc around, join with a sl st in first sc. ( 24 sc )
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, * hdc in next st, dc in next st, ( dc , ch 3, dc ) in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * 2 more times then hdc in next st, dc in next st, ( dc , ch 3, dc ) in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, join with a sl st in first sc. ( 4 sc, 8 hdc, 16 dc, 4 ch-3 sp )
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, sc in each of next 3 sts, ( sc, ch 3, sc ) into ch-3 sp, * sc in each of next 7 sts, ( sc, ch 3, sc ) into next ch-3 sp, rep from *2 more times, sc in each of next 3 sts, join with a sl st in first st, fasten off. ( 36 sc, 4 ch-3 sp
Finishing the Easy Breezy Square
To finish off, weave in your loose ends, and block gently for a finished look.
This square will work with any size yarn and the appropriate hook size for that yarn. This pattern is written suggesting a worsted weight and a 5.00 mm and the finished size reflects this.
This Square is suitable for home decor, and wearables.
