small amounts of yarn, this pattern is written with 4 colours in mind
Cols in pattern are referred to as A, B, C and D
Hook: 5.00 mm US 8 / H

Scissors
Yarn needle for darning in ends

3.5 inches x 3.5 inches

Easy Breezy Multicolour Crochet Square Instructions
Foundation: With Col A, Use a Magic Ring OR Ch 4, sl st in first ch, to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Continue with Col A, Ch 3 ( counts as first dc ) work 11 more dc into ring, join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3, fasten off. ( 12 dc )
Rnd 2: Join Col B with a sl st in any st of prev rnd, ch 1, 2 sc in same st as join, 2 sc in each dc around, join with a sl st in first sc, fasten off. ( 24 sc )
Rnd 3: Join Col C with a sl st in any st of prev rnd, ch 1, sc in same st as join, * hdc in next st, dc in next st, ( dc , ch 3, dc ) in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * 2 more times then hdc in next st, dc in next st, ( dc , ch 3, dc ) in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, join with a sl st in first sc, fasten off. ( 4 sc, 8 hdc, 16 dc, 4 ch-3 sp )
Rnd 4: Join Col D with a sl st in any ch-3 sp of prev rnd, ch 1, sc in same ch-sp as join, * sc in each of next 7 sts, ( sc, ch 3, sc ) into next ch-3 sp, rep from * 3 more times, sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, join with a sl st in first st, fasten off. ( 36 sc, 4 ch-3 sp )
Finishing the Easy Breezy Multicolour Crochet Square
To finish off, weave in your loose ends, and block gently for a finished look.
This square will work with any size yarn and the appropriate hook size for that yarn. This pattern is written suggesting a worsted weight and a 5.00 mm and the finished size reflects this.
